Abstract

The goal of this laboratory course is to give students practical exposure to basic techniques of cell and molecular biology.

The goal of this laboratory course is to give students practical exposure to basic techniques of cell and molecular biology.

Content

The 2 week-long block course covers basic laboratory skills and safety, 2D and 3D cell culture, protein analysis, RNA/DNA Isolation and RT-PCR. Each topic will be introduced with a 1-2 hr long discussion followed by practical work at the bench.
