Abstract
Theoretical basics and fundamental concepts of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) are imparted and subsequently engrossed with the help of practice-related examples.The course comprehends plenary lectures, selected complemental self-study modules (e-learning), and applicatory exercises.The students will be able to independently solve elementary close to reality problems in the domain of GIS.
