Catalytic Reaction Engineering
Last Updated: 2026-02-05 15:13:09
Abstract
Understanding of design and functioning of important catalytic applications in the field of energy, environment, and chemical production. Integration of fundamental and engineering aspects for the development of catalytic devices and processes.
Objective
The student should become familiar with integrating know how gathered in earlier courses on catalysis, thermodynamics, kinetics and reaction engineering. Case studies will be taken from three fields where catalysis plays an important role: energy, environment and chemical production.
