Abstract

The lecture aims to introduce student to a range of research findings regarding learning, thinking, emotions as well as decision-making under uncertainty. Following issues will be addressed: How is memory structured; how does learning take place; what learning strategies are especially successful; what are emotions; how are risks perceived; how are decisions taken under conditions of uncertainty?
