Last Updated: 2026-02-05 15:13:04
Abstract
In work experience, the future environmental scientists should be able to analyse environmental problems on scientific, technical and social levels and develop solutions in conjunction with social actors.
Objective
The students experience political/legal, economic, social and psychological aspects in an everyday working environment and acquire key skills such as communication and planning skills, cooperation with non-specialists and recognition of relevant aspects.
Content
Work experience takes place in an environment or planning office, an administration, a service or industrial company, in applied research, in a non-governmental organisation or in environmental education. The eighteen weeks work experience (30 credit points) is a compulsory part of the two-year Master programme. The students look for a placement themselves.
