Abstract
Transdisciplinary case study research deals with complex real world problems in a scientific manner and, therefore, relies on a strong methodological knowledge base and practical application skills. The Embedded Case Study Methods (ECSM) toolbox for transdisciplinary research comprises qualitative system analysis, scenario construction, assessment and strategy building.
