Abstract

The lectures in Medicinal Chemistry and Biophysics give an overview over the most important drug targets and the molecular mechanisms underlying the effects of therapeutic agents. Structure-function relationships, the biophysical rules underlying ligand-target interactions, as well as strategies for the development and optimization of pharmaceuticals will be discussed.

Objective

Fähigkeit zur Beurteilung von Therapeutika hinsichlich ihrer pharmazeutischen und molekularpharmakologischen Eigenschaften.

Content

Molekulare Wirkungsmechanismen synthetischer und natürlicher Therapeutika. Struktur-Wirkungsbeziehungen, biophysikalische Grundlagen der Ligand-Target Wechselwirkung.
