Abstract

This advanced seminar explores current research issues that arise in large-scale data management systems. Topics vary from year to year, and may include sensor data management, data stream processing and dissemination, advanced query processing and optimization techniques. Students are expected to give presentations, participate in class discussions, and perform a small group project.
