Abstract
Urban Detached HouseEach student gets a real client and a real site. In a dialectic process the student designs an urban detached house for his client. The student has to find out about the cultural context and the planning regulation of the site. The students have to analyze the stereotype of the urban detached house to learn more about the impact of society and culture on architecture.
Content
This part of the curriculum addresses design work in different areas of architecture and urbanism and integrates the knowledge acquired in previous years. It involves the active participation of specialists from related disciplines (e.g. building structures, landscape architecture, history of art and architecture, monuments conservation etc.).
