Abstract

In this seminar we will discuss economic principles and political-economy approaches to the causes and consequences of globalization.

Content

Students will explore the main debates about globalization enabling them to evaluate contending arguments on the achievements and failures of globalization in a scientific way. While modern economic, political-economic, and international relations theories will be discussed, the main focus of the seminar is on the discussion of applied, policy-relevant research.
