Problems of Rational-Choice Theory

Abstract
This course deals with questions concerning our assumptions on rationality for behavioral theories that are to be used as microfoundations in the social sciences. We will review the relevance of up to date psychological research for answering these questions. Formal modeling will not be treated. The emphasis is on substantive theory and on the discussion of empirical examples.
