Abstract
This elective course puts the architect’s knowledge of construction in the focus of interest and deals with possibilities of knowledge transfer as the basis for future treatment of existing built structures.This elective course is orientated at one of the key aspects of the Institute’s research topics („Construction Knowledge“) and can also be elaborated as a written thesis.

Content
Die Teilnahme amFreitagskolloquium "Moderne Stoffe und ihre Alterung," die im Sommersemester in Kooperation des IDB mit dem VSD, akd und ICOMOS Schweiz veranstaltet wird. Die Teilnahme am Kolloquium bildet den inhaltlichen Einstieg zur Bearbeitung einer freien Diplomwahlfacharbeit. Diese Veranstaltung wird während des Semester freitags von 16.15-17.45 Uhr im Maschinenlaboratorium ETH Zürich angeboten. Nährere Angaben im Internet IDB.
