Abstract

The sustainable use of the non-renewable resource “land” is one of the most important tasks for spatial planning. The lecture demonstrates instruments and procedures to putt this aim in practice.

The aim of sustainable spatial development is a economical use of the resources, especially of the non-renewable resource “land”. The lecture demonstrates actual trends of land use, arguments for a economical land use and possibilities to putt it in practice.
