Abstract

This course imparts basic knowledge of general signs and causes of illness as well as of the interactions between the organism and its living and non-living environment. The focus is on the understanding of the complex relationships between animal husbandry, behavior, health and productivity of farm animals.

Objective

Die Lehrveranstaltung befähigt die Studierenden für Gesundheit und Wohlbefinden der Tiere problematische Faktoren zu erkennen und grundsätzliche Vorschläge für eine Verbesserung zu formulieren.
