Abstract

The fundamentals of design will be developed in discursive analysis combined with practical exercises. The emphasis, which changes every week, is designed to familiarise students with visual thinking and design methodology. This includes the development and training of perception and articulation skills with a playful discursive analysis.

Objective

Familiarisation with the fundamentals of visual thinking. Development of personal graphic and design-orientated skills. Acquisition of design criteria.

Content

The fundamentals of design will be developed through the concrete, discursive analysis of practical exercises. The emphasis, which changes every week, is focused on familiarising the students with visual thinking and design methodology. This includes the development and training of perception and articulation skills. The playful, discursive analysis is intended to develop a wide repertoire and the recognition of specific criteria.
