Abstract

Introduction to control of systems with more than one input and more than one output signals (MIMO systems).

Objective

Mastery of the two most important methods for designing robust linear controllers.

Content

PID controllers: Philosophie and optimal controller tuning. State feedback and output feedback control systems with state observers. LQG/LTR method for the design of robust controllers with output feedback. Applications and exercises with MATLAB/SIMULINK.
