Abstract

Introduction to theory and empirical basics of economic development. Prescriptive theory of economic policy, institution building, political development economics, politically oriented interventions in development cooperations.

Objective

Vermittlung theoretischer und empirischer Grundlagenkenntnisse in Entwicklungsökonomie.

Content

Externe Schocks und verfehlte Wirtschaftspolitik als Entwicklungshemmnisse. Präskriptive Theorie der Wirtschaftspolitik (Makro- und Mikropolitik) und Institutionengestaltung. Politische Ökonomie der Entwicklung. Politikorientierte Interventionen der Entwicklungszusammenarbeit.
