Abstract
The courses Chinese III and IV are building upon the work done in the courses I and II. Two hundred more characters will be added, bringing the total up to six hundred. At the end of the two courses the students should be able to read simple texts in modern Chinese.
Objective
Thematische Ausrichtung: Ziel des Kurses ist es vor allem, eine von den europäischen Sprachen grundsätzlich verschiedenen Sprache zu verstehen, insbesondere in ihrem kulturellen Kontext.
Content
The courses Chinese III and IV are building upon the work done in the courses I and II. At the beginning, the lessons will consist of conversational dialogues in order to give the students some competence in modern spoken Chinese. Then we shall progress to the written language. Two hundred more characters will be added, bringing the total up to six hundred. At the end of the two courses the students should be able to read simple texts in modern Chinese. The students will also acquire the elementary knowledge, necessary for attending a course in intesive Chinese enabling them to pass the Standard Exam in Chinese (HSK).
