Abstract
The fundamentals for the detailed construction of building elements are introduced. These include the behavior of moisture and the humidity of air, surface condensation, mould growth, transport of moisture in multi-layer elements, tests for condensation and re-drying.

Fourth Semester: The fundamentals for the detailed construction of building elements are introduced. These include the behavior of moisture and the humidity of air, surface condensation, mould growth, transport of moisture in multi-layer elements, tests for condensation and re-drying. In conjunction with a discussion of the thermal quality of the building envelope, rules for the damage-free and durable construction of building elements are presented and elaborated.
