Abstract
This course imparts the basics and principles of methods and systems in air, sea, and land navigation.
Objective
The students know the mathematical/physical background of navigational methods. They know the principles of different navigationsystems. They are able to independently increase their knowledge in navigation.
Content
Trajectography and tracking, path optimization, maneuvers, observables (magnetics, astro, elektromagnetics, accelerations), basics of differnet systems (satellites, DME, VOR, Radar, INS, ILS), statistics and error estimations in navigation.
