Overview of the requirements, methods, and solutions for mechatronic systems and components in the area of production machinery.Introduction to the practical applications of mechatronic systems (sensors, drives, control- and monitoring systems) in industrial manufacturing technology.Selection and specification of drive concepts and solutions.

Overview of the requirements, methods, and solutions for mechatronic systems and components in the area of production machinery. Introduction to the practical applications of mechatronic systems (sensors, drives, control- and monitoring systems) in industrial manufacturing technology. Selection and specification of drive concepts and solutions.

Content

Concepts for interlinking manufacturing processes. Modelling of mechanical systems with the computer tool Working Model. Calculation of the specifications for different drives in process technology and automation. Selection of the drive, including motor, electronic controller, and feedback sensor. Practical procedure in commissioning and debugging. Systematic check and verification of the function for all possible loads.
