Understanding of co-dependence between the development of environment / forest and the satisfying of human usage needs. Insight into the origin and development history of today's environmental and forest structures. Basic knowledge of dealing with historical informations.

Understanding of co-dependence between the development of environment / forest and the satisfying of human usage needs. Insight into the origin and development history of today's environmental and forest structures. Basic knowledge of dealing with historical informations.

Content

Changes of forest structures and the environment in general caused by natural or human impacts. The connection between the use of environment or forest and the historical development. We focus on the interaction between the development of the forests or other ecosystems of today and the development of use, ownership and so on. History of law, of education and research affiliated to forest and environment. Introduction to the methodology of environmental history.
