Abstract

Fundamentals in applied statistics; adjustment principle; recognizing adjustment problems; numerical solutions based on the least-squares method; mathematic modeling of engineering problems and interpreting their results; application of methods in engineering, especially in surveying; application of professional software, predicting methods; theory of reliability in geodesy

Objective

Ausgleichungsprobleme erkennen, numerisch, nach der Methode der kleinsten Quadrate lösen. Resultate interpretieren. Methoden im Ingenieurbereich, insbesondere im Vermessungswesen, anwenden.

Content

Beziehungen zur linearen Algebra und zur mathematischen Statistik. Mathematische Modellierung von Ingenieurproblemen. Ausgleichungsprinzip. Vermittelnde Ausgleichung. Ausgleichungsprobleme numerisch lösen (von Hand und mit dem Computer).
