Abstract

In this lecture, basic terms of computer science are introduced.Emphasis is given on:The Internet as a data source for literature search and as a platform for publication.Data processing and data management with Excel and Access, simulations and macroprogramming.Introduction to MATLAB, a powerful tool for scientific computation.

Objective

Learn how to use a PC efficiently and effectively. Train skills in using the Internet, Matlab, Excel and Access.
