Abstract

Applied soil ecology: e-learning course with five selected modules and case studies

Objective

The goal of this course is that – by means of selected example cases – the students acquire knowledge and understanding of important fields in applied soil ecology required to solve relevant problems in practice.

Content

The course consists of 5 modules: 1) water storage in soil, 2) dynamics of soil organic matter, 3) soil erosion, 4) soil aeration and soil compaction, 5) soil acidification
