Last Updated: 2026-02-05 15:10:24
Abstract
Mechanics of incompressible fluids as they relate to selected areas of human physiology. Introduction to continuum-, in particular fluid mechanics. Insight into various applications in the human cardiovascular system. Understandig of the significance and performance of intra- and extravascular transport as well as of the importance of biological fluid-solid interactions.
Objective
Introduction into continuum-, in particular fluid mechanics. Insight into various applications in the human cardiovascular system. Understandig of the significance and performance of intra- and extravascular transport as well as of the importance of biological fluid-solid interactions.
