Abstract

Trends and state-of-the art of the military technology. Physical limits of and possible countermeasures for each military technology will be shown. Students are trained to recognise the most important problems in todays technologies and will be able to understand and discuss armament matters on an appropriate level.

Content

-Information and Communication Technologies ( ICT) -Sensors and signature management -aircraft and unmanned aereal vehicles -microtechnology and electronics -navigation -armoured vehicles and protection -ammunition, pyrotechniques, explosives -weapon-systems ( included non-lethal and beam-weapons, not included NBC-weapons) -space-technology, ballistic missile defence -robotics
