Abstract

Consolitation of knowledge in satellitegeodesy and its application to GPS.

Objective

Students know the technological background of GPS. They are able to interpret and to qualify GPS results and to carry out error estimations. Autonomous work on GPS-related problems.

Content

GPS-positioning and navigation, satellite orbits, consolidated knowledge of GPS, observation equations, principles of measurements, disturbances, practical operation, autonomous work on and analysis of GPS-data, own campaign planning.
