Abstract
Mathematical foundations of navigation, basic solutions for navigational problems.
Objective
Students know the mathematical tool in navigation. They are able to further consolidate the navigational knowlegde by their own. They know some basic solution principles in navigation.
Content
Geometra on the surface, Charts, course, rhumbline, orthodrome, maneuver, trajectories, earth magnetic field, observables, observation equations of different systems (satellites, DME/DME, VOR, radar, INS...), error estimation, Kalman filtering, basics of system control.
