Objective
Knowledge and understanding of current processes, networks, programmes and instruments relevant to forest, nature and landscape conservation. Identify cross-sectoral linkages of different policy fields, work with methods of alternative conflict resolutions, to get to know methods to evaluate public policies.
Content
Systematic analysis of current political processes in connection with the use and conservation of forests and other natural resources and landscapes. Presentation of different policy fields and their influence on the use and man-agement of forest, nature and landscape. To work off typical conflicts affecting forest and land use. Testing new approaches in political conflict resolutions. Assessment and evaluation of the impacts and outcomes of particular policy programmes or instruments by means of various evaluation methods. Developing suggestions for improve-ments on the programme and implementation level.
