Abstract

Detailed treatment of Innovation process and methodological procedures. Competence to lead innovation projects. Innovation process and sub processes, methods, moderation technique, scenario technique, technology management, innovation strategy, quality function deployment QFD, Failure Mode and Effect Analysis FMEA, conjoint analysis, product plattforms.

Objective

The leading of innovation projects is a demanding interdisciplinary Management task. Methological planning and gotiation, paired with a deep technological knowledge play a decisive role in the success of an innovation. The fundamental knowledge gained from the course "product development" will be broadened, and a negotiating competence will be developped. Concrete industrial problems in the environment of innovation processes will be analysed, will develop the necessary basis of knowledge, and be solved in groups. The students should acquire the competence necessary to be able to lead emanding innovation projects.
