Abstract

Supplementation of the methodology of sociological research with emphasis in quantitative data analysis: Data screening, descriptive statistics, hypothesis testing, correlations, and writing a research report.

Objective

Im Zentrum des zweiten Teil dieses Kurses steht die statistische Datenauswertung: Datenkontrolle, deskriptive Statistik, Hypothesenprüfung mittels Signifikanztests und Berechung und Interpretation von Korrelationen. Die praktische Umsetzung dieser Inhalte erfolgt wiederum anhand eines Forschungsprojektes, dessen Abschluss das Abfassen eines kurzen Forschungsberichtes bildet.
