Abstract

Overview over the interactions between land use and transport and the tools in order to use this understanding in spatial planning.

Objective

Goals of the module: - Overview of the reciprocal effects between land use and transport, in all its forms - basic knowledge of the tools, in order to use this understanding in spatial planning. An exercise serves strengthening the learned material.

Elements in the living space system 2: Networks of technical infrastructure 4. Structures in the living space system: Settlements and landscapes 5. Living in the living space system 1: stationary activities 6. Living in the living space system 2: mobile acitivities: the approaches of the generalized costs and equilibriums in networks 7. Creatures in the living space system: Actors: Users, investors, regulators 8. Dynamic and interactions in the living space system 9. Aims and problems in the living space system 10. Planning and problem solving and public task: formal and informal procedures 11. Planning on a communal level: Tasks, institutions, instruments, procedures 12. Planning on regional and cantonal levels: Tasks, institutions, instruments, procedures 13. Planning on national and supra-national levels: Tasks, institutions, instruments, procedures
