Abstract

Design and analysis of experiments: one-way and multi-way analysis of variance / random effects and mixed effects models / nested factors / experimental design principles / factorial designs, split-plot and strip-plot designs / sample size calculation.

Objective

Vorbereitung auf häufig anzutreffende Planungs- und Auswertungsprobleme in der naturwissenschaftlichen Forschung. Befähigung zur Durchführung von statistischen Analysen mit einem professionellen Statistikprogramm.

Content

Ein- und Mehrweg-Varianzanalyse. Zufällige Effekte, gemischte und hierarchische Modelle. Prinzipien der Versuchsplanung. Faktorielle Versuche, Versuche in unvollständigen Blöcken, Spalt- und Streifenanlagen. Erforderlicher Stichprobenumfang.
