A first look at the world of materials research

Content
Each student is assigned a tutor (selected by the Department Secretary) for the period of one semester. It is the task of the tutor to introduce his/her students to the world of materials through regular supervision and information. Students will accompany the tutor in his/her research work and so gain an insight into research routines. At the end of the semester students must deliver a report to the leader of the research group. This report is a prerequisite for receiving course credit. Tutors are also responsible for answering curriculum queries. Each semester tutors will be re-assigned.
