Abstract
Doctoral students get an understanding of the sustainability model and its challenges for research and society to be addressed in a transdisciplinary structuring of environmental issues, investigation and valuation of results.

Doctoral students get an understanding of the sustainability model and its challenges for research and society to be addressed in a transdisciplinary structuring of environmental issues, investigation and valuation of results.
Content
Research projects are presented by invited researchers and discussed. Seminal papers on sustainability and transdiscipinarity are presented by the participants and discussed with relation to their own research work as well as a presentation of doctoral research projects. The programm will be available at the beginning of the winterterm on http://www.env.ethz.ch/environmental_philosophy .
