Abstract

Metric and topological spaces; normed spaces and linear operators; uniform boundedness principle; open mapping theorem; closed graph theorem; Hahn-Banach theorem; the classical function spaces, Sobolev spaces and applications to PDEs. In addition, closable, unbounded operators on Banach spaces with applications.

Die Vorlesung ist eine Einführung in die Grundlagen der Funktionalanalysis. Behandelt werden folgende Gegenstände: Metrische und topologische Räume; normierte Räume und lineare Operatoren; das Prinzip der gleichmässigen Beschränktheit; die Sätze von der offenen Abbildung, vom abgeschlossenen Graphen, von Hahn-Banach; die klassischen Funktionenräume, Sobolov-Räume und Anwendungen auf partielle Differentialgleichungen. Dazu abschliessbare, unbeschränkte Operatoren auf Banach-Räumen und Anwendungen.
