Abstract
Agricultural Policy: welfare effects and decision making on national and international level.
Objective
Students should be competent in analysing and assessing agricultural policies. Discussion of current issues and ongoing debates.
Content
Concepts and programs of agricultural policy: international comparison. Analysis of the welfare effects of politcal strategies under different institutional conditions. Assessment of new approaches of agricultural reforms: economic, ecological and social aspects. Analysis of the decision making process and the behaviour of decision makers in national governments and in international organisations.
