Advanced Analytical Chemistry Laboratory

Objective

Practical application of advanced analytical methods in the laboratory.

Content

GC with mass spectrometric detection (GC-MS), ICP-AES, ICP-MS, X-ray fluorescence, atomic absorption spectroscopy, radiochemical analysis, MALDI mass spectrometry, scanning probe microscopy (STM). 5-week project in a research group, in one of the following areas: MALDI-MS, ICP-AES, ICP-MS, speciation, ion chromatography, NMR, scanning probe microscopy (STM/AFM).
