Abstract
This course covers the basic concepts of information theory and ofcommunication theory. Topics covered include the entropy rate of asource, mutual information, typical sequences, the asymptoticequi-partition property, Huffman coding, channel capacity, the channelcoding theorem, the source-channel separation theorem, and feedbackcapacity.
