Content
This course develops themes which could not be treated in detail in the lectures on ‘History of Urbanism’. Individual cities, individual personalities, and also specific historical periods or special questions on the history of urban development are examined. The students are expected to participate actively. The seminar basically serves as a preparation for the week-long seminar excursion (which is not, however, a requisite of the seminar) and can be used as preparatory work for an elective diploma project.
