Abstract
This course of lectures provides a historical and systematic introduction to the most important sociological theories from the beginning of sociology up to the Second World War: Theory of Community and Society (Ferdinand Tönnies); „Faits sociales“ (Emile Durkheim); The Forms of “Vergesellschaftung” (Georg Simmel); Theory of Social Action (Max Weber); Structure of Social Action (Talcott Parsons).
