Abstract
The relationships between job motivation, job satisfaction and performance are linked to the design of work processes. Meaning and effects of work, the management of uncertainty in organizations, and organizational change and work flexibility are discussed. Methods are introduced and applied in business settings supporting job and work system design and cooperative planning across work systems.
