Abstract

Laboratory course with advanced experiments in the plant sciences, biochemistry, and structural biology.

Objective

Familiarity with important methods of experimental biology and execution and evaluation of laboratory experiments. Application of theoretical knowledge.

Content

The practical is carried out successively in the following professorships and institutes, respectively: Plant Biotechnology, Plant Genetics, Biochemistry and Physiology of Plants, Phytopathology, Molecular Biology and Biophysics, Biochemistry. Exemplary experiments are carried out in small groups, and insight is given into the research areas of the professorships and institutes.
