Abstract

The main subject of the course is the law of international organizations. U, OSCE, NATO and WTO will be explored in detail. The course especially focuses on international conflict management activities of international organizations. Furthermore, the course will provide an overview of the law of the European Union as a supranational organization.

Inhalt der Vorlesung: Im Zentrum steht das Recht der Internationalen Organisationen. Nach einer allgemeinen Einführung werden besonders eingehend die UNO, die OSZE, die NATO und die WTO behandelt. Ein besonderer Fokus wird auf internationale Konfliktmanagementaktivitäten internationaler Organisationen gelegt. Zusätzlich erfolgt ein Überblick über das Recht der Europäischen Union als supranationale Organisation. Ziel der Vorlesung ist es, den Studierenden eine Vorstellung über die praktische und politische Bedeutung internationaler Organisationen zu vermitteln, dies auch im Hinblick auf die Weiterentwicklung des internationalen Rechts und des internationalen Systems.
