Abstract

Challenges and solutions to contemporary conflictsThe continuation course, which presupposes participation in the course Conflict Research I, focuses on challenges posed by contemporary conflicts in world politics. Central topics include asymmetric conflict, terrorism, state failure, nationalism, ethnic conflict, and civil war.
