Abstract

A deepened understanding of the relationship between inner and outer world and insights out of transpersonal dreams give an enlarged view of environmental problems. For this, fundamentals of today’s dream understanding and the function of dreams in the history of mankind are given. The amplification method is introduced by means of archetypal dreams, referring to the environmental problem.

Objective

A deepened understanding of the relationship between inner and outer world. Translation of the knowledge and insights out of transpersonal dreams, into a enlarged view of today's environmental problems.

Content

Fundamentals of today's dream research and dream understanding. The function of dreams in the history of mankind. With examples of archetypal dreams referring to our environmental problem, the symbols of the dream are carefully amplified. By that method we try to understand the dreams out of itself. With this an answer to the question is looked for, what nature herself might has to say to today's problems humans have with nature.
