Objective

To recognise and understand various processes, their mutual influence and conceptional connections. Assessment of spatial and chronological development with and without protective measures. To become familiar with and evalu-ate protective measures. To present risk pictures. To determine effects on systems. Design and construction of elements and systems.

Content

Processes, interactions and measures in torrents and on slopes. Technical and bioengineering methods. Risk analysis and effects on systems. Movement models, energy conversion during impact with the ground and protec-tive structures, evaluation of dangers and complete systems, limits of technical measures.
