Abstract

Design of control law for slowly time varying, uncertain or nonlinear processes (local description depending on the operating point). Such task can be realised with different kind of adaptive controllers. Beside the theory, some practical aspects of the realisation will be considered.

Objective

processes (local description depending on the operating point). Such task can be realised with different kind of adaptive controllers. Beside the theory, some practical aspects of the realisation will be considered.

Content

Structure adaptive control. On-line identification for slowly varying processes as an extension of the least squares method. Self tuner based on robust parameter estimation. Stability and robustness depending on input, disturbances and model uncertainty. Realisation of adaptive control in extended Matlab environment. Aspects of practical realisation: sampling time, model order and on line supervision of the control loop
