Objective

Introduction to computer system design of complex systems.

Content

Computational performance of parallel systems, modularity, error redundancy, design of exemplar systems (e.g. a compuer aided tooling machine, a digital audio/video mixer, „video on demand“, an electronic stock exchange system, a measuring system for particle accelerator, etc.).
